My name is Kendra Benson, Project Manager and Senior Workforce Development professional with over a decade of human capital experience across corporate America (public, non profit, and private). I specialize in helping Mid to Senior level professional women elevate their professional narrative while amplifying their value to secure high paying opportunities, shatter glass ceilings, and increase their overall quality of life. Its not just about securing a job or launching a business, I am truly passionate about impacting the lives of my clients as well as their families. My mission is to connect women like me to opportunities that will allow them to design the life of their dreams.

I Bet you didn't know
I am a Country girl at my core! I am originally from a small town in South Carolina. I grew up down the street from a dairy farm and my street was partially a dirt road.
See I told you "Cornbread Fed Country Girl" But don't let that southern hospitality fool you I am a force to be reckoned with in the boardroom.
I moved to the DMV area right after I completed undergrad and never looked back. See I always knew I wanted to escape SC from a very small girl. No offense to my fellow South Carolinians but SC just did not feel big enough for the life I always knew was apart of my destiny. SC will always be near and dear to my heart but there is just SO MUCH more to see!
I had the amazing pleasure of traveling to 5 countries while working for an humanitarian assistance agency. I have been to 21 countries and Africa 3 times. If travel was free you would definitely never see me. I live for exploring new places, immersing myself in new cultures and experiencing new things.
My favorite travel partner is my husband and we like to be completely immersed in new cultures. While we love the tourist attractions, we crave to see the places off the beaten path or the restaurants that only the locals frequent. I have been ziplining too many times to count, parasailing, swimming with sharks, snorkeling in the clearest water I have ever seen, horseback rode on the beach, ATV’d through the desert, rode some of the biggest coasters in this World, been up close of personal with 3 of the 7 Wonders of the World
I am a foodie. Like I love food! I will travel hours just for food and rarely turn down a dinner invite! Who has time for that!? Raised as a very picky eater, adulthood has opened my mind to so many new foods. You can often catch me grabbing dinner or brunch with my girls at all the hot restaurants the DMV have to offer.
Through resume and career coaching I have secured over 1,000,000 dollars in combined total salary increases for my clients, serving over 200 professionals, and supporting 50 global organizations. My past clients would call me the G.O.A.T but I call myself your Career Transition Besite! I can't wait to be a part of your success story.

Clarity: I know you may be feeling unfulfilled, underemployed, and underpaid in your career right now? Based on this reason, I’m going to spend 1-2 sessions asking you questions to evaluate where you are right now. During this step we will assess what you like, what you don’t like, what you’re great at, what you think you need improvement in and much more. After which we will begin to learn more about the requirements of the opportunity to finally develop actionable steps to achieve results in 90 days or less. We will also provide resources such as customized activities, self paced assessments, and a tailored booklist for skill mastery. This will help you to gain clarity on the jobs, opportunities, and or business paths that may suit your expertise and education best.

Application: Now that we are clear on where you want to be and what you want to look like. During this step, we will apply this information to develop your updated professional narrative that leverages your current skill set and amplifies your value to potential employers, partners, and future sponsors. We believe that a true leader takes personal responsibility for all of their actions and decisions, acknowledging mistakes and failures and using them as a guide to be better. This step will allow you to more effectively package your professional attributes in a way that takes into account your entire journey illustrating your impact and unveiling your purpose.

Purpose: You may have heard the saying "Purpose wont pay your bills" In some cases this is true but having a sense of purpose in your life is essential to your overall well-being. Furthermore, clarity acts as a compass, showing you where to go. You don’t waste time spinning your wheels because the path is clear. But let's face it, 9 times out of 10 if you are here, you've had enough time spinning your wheels on your own............We believe that if you combine Clarity with Application- Purpose is inevitable. In fact, success starts with clarity of purpose. When you have clarity you are able to operate proactively instead of reactively. This will in turn allow you to reassess your purpose as your life evolves providing you the appropriate to be more strategic about your life's path. Ultimately at the conclusion of our coaching program, You will be CLEAR on your worth, ACCOUNTABLE for your own journey. PREPARED to take the necessary steps towards making it a reality.
